The Navy Rotations Assistance page provides information for relocation time. Actually, you will want to plan ahead and prepare ahead of time for a smooth transition. Important links include Personnel Support Activity Navy Network (PSA), EPMAC, and JASS for available Navy assignments. Also included are Navy installations.

Remember to maintain communication with your Detailer on matters of relocation. They are here to assist you in your selection and rotation process. Your detailer understands your rate and where you are eligible to serve. There may be situations where you cannot serve in certain locations and your detailer can explain the reasons to you. Make sure you serve in an area that will enhance your career if possible. Sometimes this may not be possible because of family special needs but try if you can.

Your enlisted community manager may provide you with information on school availability during your transition so communicate with them before you start the relocation process. It is generally easier getting into some Navy schools during transition so this is an important consideration to keep in mind.
