What do I Need to Study for the Advancement Exam?

To find out what you need to study for your exam, you should view your bibs. The bibs will show you what rate specific and PMK specific material you will need for your studies. The bibs may tell you what chapters to study but if it doesn’t, you should review the whole manual.

Here are some resources that may help you:

  • Home Page – will contain links to the most important websites related to advancement including link to the bibs.
  • PMK Studies – Assistance for the Professional Military Knowledge portion of the exam.
  • Rate Specific – Provides links that may assist you with the rate specific portion of your exam.
  • Bib Resources – provides links to material that is referenced in your bibs.
