The spouse, silent hero of the Navy deserve much praise for what they have to endure especially when their significant other is away on assignment. This page is dedicated to helping spouses with resources to benefits, jobs, education and more. The military realizes that to keep highly qualified and trained Active Duty personnel, they must ensure our significant other is taken care of. They also realize relocating to a new duty station can impact careers.

With that, the Military has set several initiatives such as the Spouse to Teacher Program to help them maintain and advance their career. Other initiatives include education and other benefits. Many times states will pitch in and offer benefits as well. Sometimes corporations will offer free or discounted services or products so take advantage of those benefits also.

The Navy offers many e-learning personal and professional growth courses through Navy Knowledge Online (NKO), you should take advantage of that. If you are in the DEERS, you can register for an account with NKO. If you should find any benefits the Military or your state offers please let me know or post in the forum so others may benefit too!
