Career Rating Resources

This page provides enlisted Navy personnel with information in general and specific to career rating development. There are many resources to help you in your rate to move up in rank, get a good set of orders and expand your knowledge in the rate you are in or wish to switch to.

Of course your main resources will be your supervisor, division chief, career counselor and admin office. Good things to know include the manning level of your enlisted rate or the rate you wish to convert to, SRB rates, rotation opportunities and limitations, and other benefits specific to your rate. You should also know the educational opportunities available to you for your rate whether it’s a Navy school or accredited college and you should know how your rate would benefit you when you get out of the Navy.

Make sure to make your career a priority when it comes to improving your skills in your rate and seeking additional education. This will help you in the future as you move up or get out. You are your most important asset when it comes to enhancing your career!
